Accountant

An exciting position exists within the finance team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Lismore is a not-for-profit acute Surgical Medical Hospital operating under the auspices of the Trustees of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Lismore since 1921. Services include  medical, surgical, HDU, palliative care, oncology, renal dialysis  and rehabilitation, with childcare and aged care facilities also on campus. The hospital enjoys a reputation for high quality care. St Vincent’s is seeking to fill the following permanent position:

Accountant

The successful applicant will provide support to the Finance Manager and work collaboratively within the Finance team, assisting with a wide variety of the organisation’s financial operations.

  • Formal qualifications in accounting (Degree qualified or nearing completion ideal)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy with well developed Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word)
  • Demonstrated organisational skill and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the health or aged care setting would be highly regarded

The position can be structured as full-time or near full-time (9-day fortnight or equivalent) for the successful applicant.

Registered Nurse – High Dependency Unit/Surgical Ward

Current opportunities exist for experienced Registered Nurses to join our High Dependency Unit.
St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Lismore is a not-for-profit acute Surgical Medical Hospital operating under the auspices of the Trustees of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Lismore since 1921. Services include general medical, surgical, HDU, palliative care, rehabilitation and aged care facilities. The hospital enjoys a reputation for high quality care. St Vincents is seeking to fill the following permanent part-time positions:

Registered Nurse – (High Dependency Unit/Surgical Ward)

The HDU Registered Nurse is recognised as a key leadership position within the organisation and is central to the fulfilment of the Hospital’s mission and vision. The HDU Registered Nurse ensures that patient care is delivered safely whilst providing effective clinical leadership and must have the ability to practice as an autonomous professional with the capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

To be considered, applicants will need to possess the following:
–  Current registration with AHPRA
–  Registered nurse with a minimum of two (2) years experience in high dependency care
–  Ability to work all shifts
–  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
–  Current ALS
