Dr David Rabbolini

Dr Rabbolini focuses his practice to the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of non-cancerous blood disorders including:

• Venous (DVT, PTE, other) and arterial thrombotic disorders (including anti-phospholipid syndrome and other complex thrombotic disorders)
• Bleeding disorders (von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies and haemophilia, platelet bleeding disorders and thrombocytopenia)
• Immune/autoimmune conditions (like ITP)
• Uncharacterised bruising or bleeding disorders
• Bleeding and thrombotic disorders in pregnancy
• Investigation and management of abnormal blood counts (high and low) and disorders of iron metabolism (haemachromatosis)
• Peri-operative strategies for patients with bleeding/thrombotic disorders and those on anti-coagulants.

Dr Rabbolini is an Honorary Senior Lecturer, Kolling Institute, Faculty of medicine and Health, University of Sydney.

Dr Rabbolini is co-lead of the Sydney Platelet Group.
