Dr Indira Singh-Grewal studied medicine at UNSW and then completed her internship, residency and  Physician training at St Vincents Hospital Darlinghurst.  Gastroenterology training was completed at St Vincents and Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick.

She has practiced in the Northern Rivers area since 2003 and has 20yrs of experience working as a gastroenterologist in a regional setting in both private and public practice.

Areas of interest include:

• Colonoscopies including polypectomy and EMR
• Colorectal cancer screening and prevention – positive FOBTs ,screening and surveillance Diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopies
• PEG insertion
• Consultation for GI symptoms in general gastroenterology including  reflux, inflammatory bowel disease ,coeliac disease, iron deficiency, altered bowel habit, dysphagia and others.

All private procedures are billed No-Gap to your health fund. Private uninsured options are available for a fee. Referrals to Dr Indira Singh-Grewal at Northern Rivers Gastroenterology via your GP or specialist. Direct access for colonoscopy and gastroscopy available to patients meeting the criteria.
