St Vincent’s Palliative Care Service is unique in that the private and public health care sector and the local community work together to provide a 24-hour, seven day per week service to patients, their families and carers.
The Palliative Care Team works closely with General Practitioners to provide quality care, compassion and support. The support mechanism also includes a team of specially trained volunteers.
The nine bed Palliative Care Unit at St Vincent’s has a dedicated team of multidisciplinary staff including specialised
